Through these vratas, all kinds of desires are fulfilled.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> Through a close philological reading, it catalogues botanical elements such as <em>tila<\/em>, <em>vac\u0101<\/em>, <em>ku\u1e63\u1e6dha<\/em>, <em>\u015baileya<\/em>, <em>rajan\u012bdruma<\/em>, <em>must\u0101<\/em>, and ritual flora including <em>mallik\u0101<\/em>, <em>a\u015boka<\/em>, <em>kamala<\/em>, <em>kund\u0101<\/em>, and <em>bilva<\/em>, alongside animal references such as go, <em>v\u1e5b\u1e63abha<\/em>, and <em>n\u0101ga <\/em>figures like <em>V\u0101suki<\/em>, <em>Tak\u1e63aka<\/em>, and <em>K\u0101liya<\/em>. The prescriptions associated with specific <em>tithis <\/em>&#8211; including <em>dvit\u012by\u0101<\/em>, <em>t\u1e5bt\u012by\u0101<\/em>, <em>pa\u00f1cam\u012b<\/em>, <em>a\u1e63\u1e6dam\u012b<\/em>, and <em>dv\u0101da\u015b\u012b <\/em>suggest a patterned correlation between lunar temporality and natural substances. While foundational studies on Pur\u0101\u1e47icliterature by Ludo Rocher and R. C. Hazra, and ritual analyses by Frits Staal and Axel Michaels have illuminated textual and ritual structures, the ecological dimensions of vrata prescriptions remain insufficiently explored.
